List of randomness..

I started to write an introduction yesterday but then it got boring. I'm getting bored of myself and the same old introductions, so I'll just do it a different way and tell you a little bit about me ADD style.

Random Facts
(cuz they're funner than introductions)

♥ I guess some basics are in order, I'm 22, I was born on August03 and I graduated from RPI Dec'04 with a major in EMAC, concentration in graphic designer.
♥ If I could have any job in the world, I'd be a... fashion stylist for the stars.. (minus the crystal meth, haha Zoe reference)
♥ I love stars.. and hearts
♥ I am obsessed with all things pink.. and hello kitty
♥ I wish I was Asian Barbie, so I pretend I am, and I dress up EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. I'm not the type of girl who goes nasty, stops wearing makeup and just wears sweats when I get a boyfriend or depressed or anything like that.
♥ I love food. Esp. Sushi & candy
♥ I love to travel. I've been to most states, I've been on 3 different carribbean cruises.. taiwan, japan, and I lived in Sydney for a month.
♥ I eat too much ice cream even tho I'm lactose intolerant (don't worry I don't get exploding diarrhea)
♥ I'm spoiled, but I'm not a spoiled brat. (I'm an only child but my parents still disciplined me well)
♥ I love cupcake porn and flickr is my beloved pornmaster, but I rarely eat them. Maybe one or two a year...
♥ I used to live in New Mexico
♥ I never owned any black clothing until the past few months and now I have a closetfull of LBDs..
♥ I LOVE making lists..
♥ I also like ending sentences with a "..." cuz how can you truly ever end anything?
♥ One of my dreams is to have an apartment in SOHO, nyc...
♥ I love sarcasm.
♥ I'm convinced I was born a blonde so I dye it to match my personality.
♥ I started blogging online in HighSchool and started my personal camsite in the year 2000.
♥ I don't date. I only have serious relationships. And as of now, I've had 4, and I've only ever dated one person and that was only for a week, and he turned out to be a freak, therefore supporting my thing with why I don't date.
♥ I have a serious shopping problem. I see, I like, I buy. But it's all from my wallet, so beat that bitches! (Don't EVER call me a golddigger or I will beat you down! If I was one, I would've already settled for some rich business man who spoils me to death...)
♥ I have a thing for cocky guys, esp. really tall ones *ahem* anyone hear 6'4"-6'5" *melts*
♥ I love accents on guys, esp. Irish ones (I don't know why)
♥ If I never get married, I aspire to be an old cat lady. And to impregnant myself with some hot tall blonde white guy so I can have a cute mixed baby.
♥ I love to bake and cook but never for myself, I think it's a waste of food and time if it's just for me.
♥ I love to overindulge in life. Why not? You only HAVE one life.
♥ I don't do drugs, but I do consume massive amounts of alcohol. I'm a LUSH
♥ I love horror movies and scary rollercoasters.
♥ I cry in movies.. and books... and I ALWAYS cry if anything has to do with parents/old people dying.
♥ I like kissing cute girls when I'm drunk.
♥ I always have a stomachache
♥ My ice cream ALWAYS must have rainbow sprinkles on it. No exceptions!

I'm bored. Maybe I'll add on later. If you wanna know anything else just ask. I'm hungry...

Oh.

fruit tarts

tonight i was really craving something for dessert, so i threw these together. as far as desserts go, they're pretty healthy - and super simple. not that dessert is ever super healthy, but it's mostly fruit, so it's far better than a fat-filled cheesecake, or chocolate cake.

the recipe:
defrost some frozen puff pastry and cut it into small squares (4x4"). poke a few holes in the bottoms with a fork, so they don't stay totally soggy in the middle. place a few pieces of fruit on each square. i used raspberries, blackberries, and apples. any fruit would be good - sliced cherries, pears, nectarines, anything. sprinkle a little honey or brown sugar (or both!) on top. bake at 400 degrees for about 10-15 minutes. enjoy!

I started writing an introduction but then I got bored. I'm bored of introductions. If you wanna learn about me, it's easy just find me thru the name "misstiffie" on google. I'm on facebook. I'm on myspace. I'm on xanga. I'm EVERYWHERE. But this is where I am at this moment. I'm just sitting here, drinking a beer and trying to relax because for most of the day I'm always so stressed. Either from work or from other unmentionable "sources".

Fear the evilchin for you may grow one overnight and lose your neck completely.

I'll post my introduction up at work tomorrow when I'm procrastinating and thinking about what to eat for lunch.

this is me:

i'm elyse. i'm 20. i'm from alabama, but right now i live in new york. i'm a senior in college (may, bitches!) and i'm a graphic designer. i make things shiny. i love fashion, blogging, watching and squeeing over tv shows, designing and decorating, kickboxing, my dachshund puppy (britten), pink things, blue things, sunshine, the beach, and baking. i looove baking.

this is me and my brother. he's clearly thrilled about being allowed to drive our mom's honda s2000. sweet car. i love cars - and motorcycles. i'm a total speed demon. i also love my brother.

i'm definitely a southern girl at heart. in this picture, we were driving to the original oyster house in mobile, al to get key lime pie. i love to bake, especially mini-sized things, things with fruit, and bread. maybe i'm lucky for being naturally skinny, but i love me some baked goods and i don't care how many i eat!




this is my adorable dachshund puppy, britten. he's about 5 months old now, about 10lbs (my arms hurt just thinking about it), and has become fluffy enough to need brushing (he's a longhair). he is the love of my life, even when he pees on my floor and tries to eat my food. he even knows how to play dead! what a cutie.

i got a new camera for christmas so i've been flickr-ing like crazy and hopefully (it's my goal!) all my posts will have daily photos. ack. i got out of the habit of blogging, but hopefully this will get me back in! yay for angry pink cupcakes!
